2021 Mission - Kiserian, Kajiado County.

Highlights of the mission trip

  • 32 needy families were visited. Among them were orphans, widows, extremely poor, sick. The visit included, praying with the families, encouraging the families, evangelizing, giving food, stuffs, and some cash.
  • One man got born again during the home visits. All the families expressed how much they were blessed by the visits.
  • Two Children’s Home visited namely, Remember Nhu, and Son’s of Manasseh. Tumaini blessed the homes with some foodstuffs and cash donations as well as cleaning their houses, washing their clothes, and cooking for them
  • Medical Camp -Tumaini provided free medical services to over 1000 people with different ailments. Services provided include.
    • Body vitals
    • blood sugar
    • Over 500 reading glasses issued
    • general health education
    • Medicine as prescribed by the clinicians
    • The dental team, led by Dr Chege Mbiu, attended one hundred patients. Services offered were teeth extraction and  dental hygiene
  • Revival meeting at Shekinah Pentecostal Church in the afternoon.
  • Missionaries were divided into small groups in and ministered in different churches in Kiserian.
  • A revival service was held on the last day at Shekinah Pentecostal Church.

Post mission Follow-up

  • Feeding program in December 2021 to give 32 families a good Christmas season as there was immense draught in the area.
  • Tumaini committed to paying school tuition and fees for one of the boys whose family could not afford to meet this need.
  • Started business for one of the visited families
  • Paid school fees for 3 children for one of the family
